A declined casino deposit almost always comes down to one of five causes. Work through this checklist in order — in our experience it resolves the vast majority of cases without contacting support.
The five common causes, in order of likelihood
- Revolut's gambling block is on. Check the app's security settings. Remember the 48-hour cooldown after switching it off — payments won't work immediately.
- 3D Secure wasn't confirmed. The payment triggers a push notification in the Revolut app; if it's dismissed or times out, the deposit fails. Retry with the app open.
- Insufficient balance in the payment currency. If the casino charges in a currency you don't hold, Revolut converts on the fly — but only if your total balance covers it. Check the exact charge currency in the cashier.
- The casino's payment processor doesn't serve your country. Some processors restrict card gambling payments by market even when the casino itself accepts your country. Try the casino's alternative card processor (retry often routes differently), Apple Pay / Google Pay, or bank transfer.
- Card limits or security flags. A frozen card, exceeded limit, or a fraud-prevention decline. The Revolut app shows the specific reason under the declined transaction — read it before anything else.
